UFO6 is live!

Unidentified Funny Objects 6 ebook is live on Amazon! Print books can be preordered and will be delivered next week.

David Walton’s The Genius Plague is a a near-future thriller in the best traditions of Michael Creighton. I was fortunate enough to read an advance copy of this book and highly recommend it!

When Parallel Lives meet by Mike Resnick, Lezli Robyn, and Larry Hodges is a far-future alien contact story, and while I haven’t yet read it, I’ve read previous Resnick/Robyn collaborations and expect it to be a treat!

The Kickstarter campaign for Unidentified Funny Objects 6 launched this morning. It is also the cover reveal: gaze upon another awesome illustration by Tomasz Maronski!

 

There are special Early Bird rewards as well which are available to those who back the campaign in the first 36 hours (by 10pm Wednesday Eastern time) — so please check it out and also help me spread the word: I can only reach a certain number of folks but everyone who shares and posts about the project will reach further, letting others know about the campaign and the UFO series!

UFO6 Guidelines Posted

UFO6 guidelines are posted here.

The biggest  change is that our pay rates have gone up — again. UFO will be paying ten cents per word for this volume and, hopefully, going forward.

We are buying one additional right for the extra dough — the non-exclusive audio rights. I’d like to make this (and future) volumes available in audio book form. Most likely by teaming up with someone to produce the audio (if you are that person/company, feel free to reach out and we’ll talk.)

Submissions will open on April 1st for one month. One submission per writer, unless the story impresses us enough that we explicitly invite you to send another.

Oh, and of course you should read a previous volume in the UFO series to get a better grasp of what kind of story tends to win me over.
